If you want to install the latest version of bluestacks emulator, you need to uninstall the previous one and sometimes or may be for some people it’s painstaking to get rid off the older version of bluestacks beta because it leaves behind its footmarks and registry files that may interrupt the installation of latest version of bluestacks.

1- Run command (Win Key + R) -> “%programfiles%BlueStacksHD-Quit.exe” (WinX86) “%programfiles(x86)%BlueStacksHD-Quit.exe” (WinX64). Alternatively, Go to C:Program FilesBluestacks (or C:Program Files (x86) Bluestacks if you have x64bit), and dobleclick on HD-Quit.exe, this will close BlueStacks.
2- Open “task manager” by run command “taskmgr” -> or by pressing Alt + Ctrl + del at the same time. And go to “Processes” tab -> “HD-LogRotatorService.exe” -> then right click and click -> “End Process Tree”
3- Open “programs and features” by run command “appwiz.cpl” -> or go to control panel “uninstall a program” and uninstall “BlueStacks App Player” & “Notifications Center”
4- Delete all the following BlueStacks folders:
“%userprofile%AppDataLocalBlueStacksSetup”
“%programfiles%BlueStacks” (WinX86), “%programfiles(x86)%BlueStacks” (WinX64),
“%programdata%BlueStacks”
“%programdata%BlueStacksSetup”

Setup from Desktop
“%windir%Installer” -> “View” -> “Details” -> right click on column header (i.e “Name”, “Date Modified”, “Type”) -> “Authors” -> click over column header of “Authors” to sort files according authors -> search for “BlueStacks” and delete.
Note: “%ProgramData%BlueStacksLogsHypervisor.log” will persist to delete, we will delete it later after restart

5- Download RegScanner v1.95 Or CCleaner
Install -> open it -> Registry Scan Options (it will open automatic) -> select all keys in option Scan the following base key -> write on Find String “BlueStacks” -> wait till search finish -> select all and delete -> Resisted keys can be deleted manually by opening in Regedit. 6- Repeat step (5) by searching for “Notification Center”
7- Restart your computer now.
8- Now you can remove %ProgramData%BlueStacksLogsHypervisor.log
